Step 1
- Remove the protective inner paper
- It’s easier to start from the middle

Step 2
- Wrap the collar around the post
- Start from one side and apply pressure

Step 3
- Use screws or nails to fasten collar to post
- Pivot fasteners perpendicular to post

Step 4
- Press the butyl into cracks for a better seal
- Use a putty knife of similar tool
- Optionally, secure collar with nail/screws to pin the finished seam
